The Warriors hitting Sony’s portable

October 20th 2006 04:45
Rockstar Games, the controversial publisher of Bully and Grand Theft Auto games, announced that The Warriors will be making its way to the PSP. Developed by Rockstar Leeds and Rockstar Toronto, The Warriors for the PSP is set to hit North American and European retail shelves this holiday season.

If you want to take The Warriors with you when commuting to work or school, granted that you don’t get mugged like some iPod owners, then the PSP version would be good news. Still, one can’t help but question why they should bother buying the PSP version when they could play it in their aging-but-still-adequate PlayStation 2, which would obviously be safer.

The Warriors is based on the 1979 cult classic film, and is set in a gritty 1970's New York City.
