Jumping on the HD Bandwagon

HD DVD ... It's not dead yet!
Well okay, maybe it is. But thanks to Toshiba pulling out of the HD race, I've finally jumped on board, and why not! At prices this cheap, it's worth trying. Granted my 26 inch HD TV was mainly for the Xbox 360 than movies, but the $50 spent on the HD-DVD player add-on was very much worth the purchase.
In all seriousness, which rarely happens around these parts, it's sad to see HD go. Until now I've ignored all the hype surrounding the battle between Toshiba and Sony's overprices Blu-Ray, but from what I've read lately, HD was a superior format ... unless I'm mistaken.
As it is, I'm more than happy with my purchase, and I'll be hunting the bargain bins over the next few weeks. It's a damn sight cheaper than a PS3, that's for sure.
